Can i turn a pa speaker into a loud outdoor phone ringer?

i have a old pa speaker that works but i dont use it, and i run a towing company and i sometimes dont hear my phone ring in the office, i was wondering if i get a phone plug and somehow hook it up to a seperate phone jack. without messing up anything
