Question about Yami No Matsuei - Tsuzuki?

Do you get to know about his past in the manga, cuz wasn't he supposed to have done something really bad? All I know is that he (spoiler, idiot) commited suicide and spent ages in hospital, anything else I've missed? I don't think it's been explained but I suppose I could be wrong..
