Please answer if you're good with iPhones?

I spilt accidentally spilt strawberry dackery all over my iPhone, so I washed it off and took off the cover. It seems to be working fine, the only thing that is having problems is the sound. It's all on, but it's not making noises. And the ringer won't turn up or down, theres no little sqaures. Can anyone please help me? It's a 3GS. Thankk yooouu :) God Bless <3
