Help putting mp3 on my moterolla phone via Blue Toothe?

I have blue tooth connected to my motorolla razor ( or what ever it is) and when I transfer a mp3 over it shows up in music and sounds instead of ringtones and I can't set a sound to ringtone. I add it to the folder named my_ringers but it shows up in sounds please help
