Swallowing balloons of pills?

My brother just got caught for a burglary charge and has a waarant. He makes it worse saying hes planning on swallowing one or two balloons (literally) of five pills each. Okay, I know he is a complete idiot, but, 1) will he get caught? 2) is there at least a way to santitize the balloon? and 3) will it digest in his stomach or is a toy balloon not the correct material? He is going away for 5 years, hes going to do what hes going to do. I, nor can anyone who wants to reply telling me to talk him out of it will do it. I want to make sure hes not going to die. I almost wanted to replace the pills with some aspirin, or melatonin.
