DnD: decision problem?

Let em find some gold to buy items later. :P And fake it. Roll a d100 behind your DM screen and say the dice told you that their weapons burnt. If you don't have a DM screen, roll it quick and make up a rule or something. Just fake it. And you're the DM. There really is no right or wrong. But i would say that if their weapons were burnt, they would have to have some work done on them before they work properly again.
