is because it would be a capitulation to racist demands? Obviously this scrutiny that they would like to put him under, above and beyond what any other politician would have to, especially a white politician has at it's root - reactionary racial prejudice. Can you, in your wildest imagination see any other candidate run thru this ringer? So why should Obama dance to racist puppet strings? especially when this issue just drives minorities - soon to be a majority - into the Democrat's camp budds?
